First Quarter Book Blog!
First quarter is here and it is time to fall into the reading habit. This quarter your point goal is 500. That can be a combination of Book Adventure points and blog book report points. You will need to write the title of your book, the author, and a description of what the book was about. This should include the characters and the plot. I would like for you to share if you liked the book or not. Picture books and easier chapter books are worth 100 points. Chapter books are worth 150 points. I can't wait to hear about all the great books you are reading first quarter.

the knight at dawn mary pope osborne first the charecters are annie jack dad mom the three knights. the story is about when anni and jack go to the tree hous and they see this book it said the night at dawn wieland anni sall this casil in the fog so anni said lets go and jack dident want to and anni fourst jack so they got a closer look and they saw this night it was garding the casel so jack got the night at dawn book and he opened it to the first page and he saw what was thaer right in front of him and he said anni look and she wasent there so he snock in side and he sall her and he said anni what are you doing and anni said what what how are youand they got coght so they started runing and they stoped and anni got scared and so did jack and they bomed into each otherand they said how is that .number 16

DESCRIPTION: This is a pictur book that has a lot of poems in it. It is usuly obout kids doing SILLY silly stuff like this poem obout a boy that had a lot of books to retourn to the library and a diforent poem is when a boy would not go to bed and he just want edto play-play-PLAY and a kid had a stinky diper.

In the book Dinosaurs Before Dark by Mary Pope Osborn, Annie and Jack took an imaginary trip to dinosaur land. In the beginning Annie and Jack went to the treehouse and found the book Dinosaurs Before Dark. Jack saw a picture of a Padaradon in a book and then he said, "I wish I could see that in real life." The wind started to whistle and it started to spin. The looked out the window and saw volcanos in the distance and heard duck sounds. So they looked around and saw a Padaradon. Jack was surprised. They were in dinosaur. In the middle, Annie and Jack found a friend dinosaur who saved Jack when the TRex was chasing him. He brought him back to the treehouse in the forest. At the end, the padaradon flew away and Annie and Jack found the book about Pennsylvania and they were brought back to Pennsylvania. Everything was silent and they were back at the treehouse. LIKE?Yes I think that it is a great book to read.It would take les than a hour to fly from hear to South Dakota in a B-2 spirit stealth bomber.

First in the story Sunset of The Sabortooth Annie and Jack were doing swimming lessons. Then they wanted to go to the treehouse and do an adventure to try and find the M thing. When they got to the Ice Age Annie and Jack saw Cro-Managans with pitchforks. Then they were wandering around trying to find some warm places and warm clothes. They saw a sabortooth so they started running and Jack and Annie fell in this pit. A Cro-Managan helped them out by giving them a flute made of mammoth bones and took them to a Mammoth named Lulu. Lulu was taking them back to the treehouse and a sabortooth tried to get them. Annie and Jack used the flute to scare the sabortooth tiger. Annie and Jack got back to the treehouse safely.
Did It Take Creativity to find Realtivity,Albert Einstein? By:melvin and Gilda Berger. This book tells about some of albert einsteins greastest inventions and where he was born and were he grew up and where he went to school . One of the most important things it talks about is thewhat albert called the " The Theory of Realtivity. This was one of alberts most famous inventions. Also this story talks about one of alberts most famous equations ,witch is E=mc.
You Wouldnt Want To Sail On The Titanic. By: David Stewart. This story is a NON FICTION story ,it tells about how the workers built the titanic and how many passengers where aboard the titanic . One other thing the story talks about is first class , second class and third class. First class being for the richest and welthyeast people second class being for usally being for small familys and third class being for the poorest people usally with no family or with few family members.And at the end of the book it is a very sad ending because it tells about the titanic sinking .

This book is a good research book and it asks questions about what they did,say and when they were born and died.It told me about alot more people i didn't know about like Jim Henson the creater of the Muppets and the voice of Big Bird,Ernie and the famos Kirmit the Frog.See I've learned alot about people in this book.

Ugly Animals By:Glinda And Melvin Berger.This book is about many of the worlds ugliest creatures in the world . A few exapels are the Uakari Monkey , Aye-Aye,and the Naked Mole Rat.This animals are very interesting but very ugly. I would recomend this book to some one who loves bizzare and funny animals!
TITTLE: tHE HALLOWEEN PARTY FROM THE BLACK LAGOON BY: Mike Thaler
They go to school and the teacher says that they are having a halloween party in class. He dosen't know what to wear. He goes to the store with $2.38 but can't find anything. he goes to the attic to find something, then mom hears him and comes up. Will he get a costume in time? You have to read the book to find out.

Sharks ! By: Adrienne Betz . Sharks is a very interesting book. It is a NON FIC book .Sharks is a very interesting book it tells about where sharks habbatat is and what species they are and where they live. I would recomend this book for anyone who loves to learn about animals and fish or preditors of the deep!
The True Story of the Three Little Pigs. The author is Lane Smith. I'ts about three little pigs that build houses to stay away from the wolfs.The first house is made out of straw.The first pig isn't very smart at all. The first house gets sneezed on by the wolf and it tears down. When the first house blows down the pig is still left so the wolf eats the first pig for food. The second house is made out of sticks. The second pig is a little more smart than the first one. But the second house gets sneezed on to and blown away too. The second pig got eaten too. But the third pig is smarter than all of them. He builds the house out of brick so the wolf cant blow it away.#7
Julious The Baby Of The World! By: Kevin Henkes. Julious the babby of the world is about a mouse family with the mom the dad and the dotor lilly. Soon lilly will have a new little brother named julious. At first lilly was so excited about the new arivail but when julious is born lilly then realizies having a brother isnt so fun.But at the end of the story somebody makes fun of julious and then lilly realizis having a brother isnt so bad.
Bald Eagles by: James e. Gerholt,. This book is about what bald eagles do to survive and where they live. One interesting thing about bald eagles is that they used to be an endangered species but the people protected thim and they are making large comeback. Bald eagles would be a great book for someone who loves animals and likes to learn about thim!
The Scrambled States of America By:Laurie Keller Genre Fiction
This book is about states that can talk and they all get invited to a party but there's a twist. Kansas has a problem about being the middle of the country. He wants to meet some new friends as different states. After the party everybody packs up there things and switch where they were. It didn't look the same but for them it worked. Then after a while they all switched back to there old homes but everybody was glad to meet some new friends. And that's the story of The Scrambled States of America.#7

The farmer puts out a farmer made of wax and the night falls. The next morning the rabbit sees the fake farmer. The rabbit beats the wax farmer up. The real farmer sees rabbit now he was trapped for sure. Then the coyote traded places with the rabbit. Then as the rabbit is running the coyote gets out of the trap and follows rabbit. They were free at last.#7

Twas the night before thanksgiving by :Dav Pilkey. twas the night before thanksgiving is about children who go on a feild trip to a turkey farm.At the end of the feild trip the farmer tells them that he will be kiling the turkeys for a feast so the children sneack the turkeys out of the barn so they wont get killed.At the end of the book the turkeys are saved.#20
Dont forget to come home by :robbie harris. Dont forget to come home is a very humourous book.it is about a little girl who does not want to stay with a baby siter while her parents go out for dinner.So she tries all the posible ways to persuade her parents to take her with them. But of course she dosent get her way.I recomend this book for someone who likes short picture books and fuunny picture books.!#20

DESCRIPTION: the book is about the titanic .the book tells you about what it was like on the titanic it told about classes 1,2 and 3 and how they lived and how they built the ship and the ships death. class 1nd is a class was expensive and there were huge sun set decks. 2nd class was just a regular class with original stuff like a hotel rome. 3rd class was just like a ship hold with junk no beds, chars rooms or any thing. when the ship hit the ice burg and sank only a couple people were saved by life boats. one man still survived the freezing water.

the book I read was American chillers(warwolves). At the beging these kids are playing hide and go seek there names are james,micheal,collete,and jeramy and micheal was in the forest and in a tree and collete was it. So micheal heard leaves and sticks moving around abd he thought it was collete but it wasn't it was a warwolve the warwolve started running at micheal so micheal was all ready hafe way gone and micheal was safe. At the midal of the story collete and micheal saw this guy that they thought was a warwolve that always stalked them.But this lybraian mrs owens pertected collete and micheal.At the end of the story mrs owens tuned into a warwolve wile they were in the lybrary with the doors looked so they couldn't get out.They almost got killed but micheal had a spry that killes warwolves so he spray it on mrs owens and she died. It tuned out that the creepy guy was a warwolve hunter. The end
11 Birthdays is a fiction book by Wendy Mass. The book is all about two kids that were born on the same day and they always have thier birthday together but one day on Amanda And Leos 10th birthday Leos friends ask him why he has his birthday w/ a girl and Leo says that his mom makes and he doesn't want to hurt Amandas feelings, but at that moment Amanda walked by Leos bedroom and herd everything so Amanda didn't talk to Leo for a whole year! But on thier tenth B-day they have thier party without each other and the day keeps reapeting its self over and over and Leo and Amanda are the only ones noticing it! Singned #5

DESCRIPTION: one day a girl was going buy radishes. when she came back the way she came she herd some thing in the ally next to her she looked over to see a iguana in the ally. she new that the iguana is probably some ones pet so she takes it home. a little while after that (moths later) she meets a boy that has TWO iguanas and she takes care of them fore them because he went on a trip. her brother bought some in-visibility powder ( it really works and if you use it on reptiles it will morf them) any ways the iguanas ate the powder and became huge and morfed. the girl and her brother found 3D glasses and it helped them to see the iguanas and eventually they turn back to normal.
LIKE? yes i like this book because it is a maximum chill book and it is a thriller.

I read Diary Of A Wimpy Kid By Kristian Ramey #16.
This book is about a lot of things. So I am only going to tell you about one thing that happened. One thing that happend took place during Halloween. Rouly and Greg wanted to go to this really scary house but they couln't go because Gregs little brother Manney(wich is only four)had to go with them and their mom said they can only stay around in the neighborhood. So they stayed with Manny and if there was any kind of scary decaration they couln't go at that house. When they were walking they ran in to one of Manneys friends. They asked them if they could take Manny and they said yes. So Rouly and Greg finaly got to the scary house. As soon as they got inside a chainsaw guy came running at them and ghost popped out of nowhere. They got out of the house and went back home. That was the scary event that happened.

DESCRIPTION: This book is a American chillers book where three people went into a mad house. when the three walk in the window they find them selves in a carnival and when they tried to go find the window to find there home again. but they found a kid instead and he lads them to more realms through more window. in the end they find out that the kid was the wizard that created all of the realms. they get home by finding the last window to home.
LIKE?i like the book but it is not to scary.

DESCRIPTION: this book is about four kids who go to an island and get invaded by sea creatures who destroy the whole town. the kids find out that waffles with shortening makes the huge sea creatures blow up. but is it two late when the creachers corner them in a destroyed house? this is a great book if you want to find out what happens next read this book.

The seeing stone by:Tony Diterlizzi and Holly Black The main characters are Simon, Jared and Mallory. Simon gets lost. Jared, Mallory and discover goblins coming close to there house and Jared uses the seeing stone to see them to fight them off. Mallory and Jared set off into the woods to find him. They find him in a cage above the place where the goblins were surounded by other animals and creatures in cages. They let hogsquel out and the other animals. #2
